Course Description: While the 7th Grade ELA curriculum will continue to familiarize students with a variety of literary genres and writing styles, it will also focus explicitly on developing specific analytical reading, writing, and thinking skills. Our rigorous curriculum is designed to prepare you for success in a rapidly changing world, one that demands sharp critical reading and thinking. Work hard, and you will leave this class better prepared to communicate effectively in your twenty-first century academic, career, and personal lives.
